Founder and Principal
Seven Wood is led by Niamh Banks, a retail and brand strategist with over 20 years’ experience across international wholesale, retail development and commercial design.
Founded in 2015, Seven Wood began as a curated retail concept, showcasing storied European brands and exclusive mid-century furniture by designers such as Hans Wegner, Grete Jalk and Børge Mogensen. The studio became a platform for bringing modern design perspective into the local retail landscape.
Her work now focuses on shaping the next evolution of design-led retail and commercial space in Ireland.
Her career began at AVOCA, where she drove international wholesale growth across Europe and the US and project managed the creation and launch of AVOCA retail destinations. Working at the intersection of product, brand and space, she developed a clear understanding of how thoughtful positioning and disciplined commercial strategy build brands that endure.
